Hi All
In case anyone was actually hanging out for my comic on Sunday, again I am sorry but I am still sans-phone line.
So I am at work, after hours typing this message up.
I thought I would mention couple of things I have noticed since living in the burbs. First is how nice it can be.
I was living in a great area of Melbourne and it was fantastic, but it is so good to have the space out here. I am
certain I will get bored of it shortly, but for now it is great.
Also, I want to mention how damn windy it is. We need hills in the west damn it! I did some washing and some of it
dried while I was hanging it out. Seriously.
Big thanks to Anh, for offering to let me come over to his place and check my mail box in WoW. I'm sure I have a
bunch of stuff that would otherwise evaporate. I will be over soon man!
Since I have had no internet I have got back into some PC games I have had installed but hadn't got around to playing.
Notably Warhammer 40K. I played the original and thought.. meh it's ok. The expansion was frustrating. Weapons seemed to
be extremely specialised, to the point that a blast from the canon of a tank would send all troops flying through the air
and leave them all as a fine red spray in the air, but would not even dent another heavily armoured unit. BUT then a
couple of laser shots from a side turret would destroy them.
The Newest Expansion (Dark Crusade) feels like a completely different game. The campaign mode is a cross between an RTS and
Civilisation!
But I digress. Talking about games again, Shame on me. I have wanted to do a follow up comic about
the two adventurers with the toilet. I was originally going to do something a
little different but I was watching Big Brother (pause for shudder), and this was the level of conversation I was getting
from the contestants. I tuned out after listening to some chick explain the rules for teh BBQ sauce to two new contestants.
Anyway. I am off to check my WoW mailbox and have a quick game of tennis.
