Overlord Ro Hi, just a little update for everyone
The comments keep getting spammed, so I have setup a filter to filter out some.. hopefully all of the crap. Legitimate comments SHOULD all still come through.
So just be aware, that if you are writing a comment and there are words or phrases that could sound spammy, try to re-word it.
Thanks Ro

Hi all
I have had a busy week at work and it looks like there are plenty more busy weeks to come, but hey, it's better than having nothing to do i guess (I will keep telling myself that anyway). I have got my PSP back, I lent it to a friend, and I almost had to prise it from his hands to get it back! Can't blame him though, it is a handy little toy. The reason I got it back was because while I was on Holidays, I bought some new things for it, including a long life battery, a 4Gb memory stick, and a game (Toca Race Driver 3).
I am looking forward to seeing how long this battery lasts without recharging, as I was pretty impressed with the standard battery that came with the PSP. The memory stick was the thing I was most looking forward to trying out. I mostly use my PSP as a portable video player, and 4Gb should enable me to watch a fair few episodes of Robot Chicken, the Family Guy or whatever else I like to watch. I am converting a bunch of my videos to the PSP format and resolution right now, so when I'm done I'll see how many I can fit onto it.
The Game, Toca Race Driver 3, was a surprise for me. I have a couple of racing games on PSP and they have been a complete disappointment. Ridgeracer and NFS underground2. Not that they are terrible games, infact I found ridge racer quite entertaining, but what I always missed on the PSP was a Racing simulator like Gran Turismo. Infact I am very surprised that GT is not available in other formats, like PC, or even xbox. It is by far the best racing simulator to date. Toca has some features that are great... maybe even better than GT4, but overall it is a smaller game with less to achieve and do. The great thing about Toca is the damage. It is entirely possible (and with my driving ability, probable) that you can take a corner too fast run into a wall and lose some car parts, like body work, lights, or if you drive fast enough, a wheel or two. It is completely unforgiving...
Which is totally cool! I don't think you deserve to win a race in a racing sim if you crash head first into a wall at 120Km/h. So I love that. I wish they followed GT4 a little more though, especially in terms of the choice fo car. I have only started playing, but it seems that in the competition races (World Championships) you cannot choose cars at all. You are given a car and that is the only one you can complete that race with. You can setup single races but winning them doesn't unlock anything.
Anyway, enough about games, Get Toca if you have a PSP. It is the best PSP racer I have played yet.
I have nothing to say really about the comic. It was just something funny that came into my head.
Later Overlord Ro
