Hi all
Not much going on for me personally this week, but there have been some interesting things happening in Melbourne. The St Kilda festival was on, and a HEAP of people have been going down to ST Kilda beack and enjoying it. According to one of my friends, there was pretty much standing room only, as hundreds of thousands of people turned up to see some good local music.
I wasn't up for it because I hate hot weather, and lately Melbourne has been either really hot (expecting 38 degrees c today), or really windy. The Triple J (Australian Radio Station) Hottest 100 is over, and finally a song that I really like is number 1. For anyone who doesn't know, every Australia day (26th of Jan), Triple J accepts votes fo the best song of the previous Year, and play all the top 100 in a count down. Lots of people have BBQs and hang out with friends on Australia day andthe Hottest 100 seems to have become an integral part of that. I heard Boyz II Men are performing at the Metro in Melbourne too.... I didn't know they were still together. Apparently K-Ci and JoJo are going to be there too. And there have been big posters for some show involving Billy Crystal at the performing arts centre, and although neither of these things sounds like something I would be into, I certainly don't hold my artisting interests as a model for others to aspire to... unless you really want to be into fart jokes.
Now to the comic. This was one of the original comics I drew years ago, though modified slightly (he didn't have a hat in the hand drawings). I was just wondering how strict nudist beaches would be. For example, if someone wanted to be (marginably) sun smart, and wear a hat, are they no longer nude? What about sunglasses?
Anyway, time is catching up with me, I have mere weeks before I go to Egypt, and I am still not ready.
