Hi All
I just got off a bus and got home. I spent the weekend with my family and the bus ride home was terrible. The bus was old and crappy and some idiot decided to smoke. Smoking is banned on any kind of public transport in Australia but.. well.. he was an idiot. Anyway that is all behind me now. Incidentally, my trip was the reason my comic is out late.
On another note, I helped setup my uncles website this week. I won't give out a link as he is still working on it, and the CMS hasn't really been customised yet. I think it is awesome because he is heading towards 80, computers are completely new to him and he was using "computer jargon" like "login" and scroll up/down". I can only hope that when I get to that age (if in fact I am fortunate enough to reach that age), I have the same capacity and desire to learn new things.
I haven't seen the movie Happy Feet yet, but it does look alright. Honestly, I am not really into animated movies, since they are usually aimed solely at kids. There are some notable exceptions, shrek comes to mind. In fact I haven't been to the movies in ages. I haven't even seen the borat movie, and to all my US visitors, yes, Australia is REALLY far behind on almost all movie release dates. It sucks, can't help it, we don't have a large enough population to drive demand and influence.
Christmas is only 3 weeks away!! Christmas has always been a huge family do for my family, and this year will be no different. There will be some notable exceptions, including my girlfriend, but none the less, I am really looking forward to getting home and having some of my Mum's (oh yeah, and my Aunties) home cooked food.
One last thing, I would like to welcome the new subscribers to my newsletter kind of thing, I'm not really sure what to call it still, but I am working on it.
I am going to eat some Indian food and crash.
