Hi everyone

First, I would like to say a big welcome to the ALL NEW penguinart.net fan club. All 3 of you guys rock! Thanks for subscribing to the comic, you will be the first to know when it is available. For anyone who is interested, you can subscribe on the left, where it says "Subscribe", totally baffling I know. So thanks again people!

This week has been fairly standard for me, I didn't see any bands, the G20 protestors have all gone back to their jobs and are currently fuelling the economic powers that they were trying to bring down, so traffic was normal, and aside from my little 1.5 year old cuz doing the chicken dance, there has been precious little entertainment. I haven't mentioned Guild wars lately, and with very good reason. We have had a falling out.

Guild wars and I are currently seeing other people, it wasn't any ones fault in particular, it was just that we wanted different things. Actually it was one of our fault... Guild Wars! I am not a social gamer, and it is not only because there seems to be a huge load of idiot teenagers online, it's because I don't have time to setup social networks, and set aside specific times to meet groups/clans. I can play every night for a few hours one week, then never get online for the next 3 weeks, and for a game like guild wars, after a certain point you cannot advance without other players (because your henchmen always suck/die). So I am playing Oblivion instead!

It is even more addictive than guild wars in my opinion as there is so much more to do including buying property, finding awesome weapons (thanks to some awesome mods), and finding new areas. And best of all, I can save and leave it for a few days and when I get back online no one is annoyed because I couldn't make a raiding party!

I have mentioned before the kind of online comics I read and they are all from the US, and the last couple of days they have all been about thanksgiving. In Australia we don't celebrate it (given since we didn't have Pilgrims and American Indians to begin with) and so reading so much about it and seeing so many cartoon turkey dinners made me want to head over to the US! The plans for me are to go there for Christmas in 2008. I have family there and it would be a good change from the boiling hot Christmas I'm used to in Australia. Next holiday though, is going to be Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam. I wish some of my Vietnamese friends would come with me (since I have a few friends coming already) but it doesn't look promising.

No story behind this comic, I just thought it would be funny.

That's all for this week
